Questo libro è davvero magico. Pieno di segni zodiacali e di referenze culturali, TSTMTS vi stupirà se amate la Divina Commedia e la Musica.

Aurora "Rora" e Claudia Portinari sono due migliori amiche a Washington DC che vanno a vedere un concerto. Tutto nel loro mondo sta cadendo a pezzi. Lì incontrano Major e Amir, due ragazzi che si scoprono venire dalle magiche città delle sfere, città nascoste sui pianeti in un modello geocentrico simile a quello descritto da Dante nella Divina Commedia, ma con segni zodiacali e pianeti moderni.

I quattro si imbarcano grazie alla magia su queste città, una più magica dell'altra, e io sono rimasta stupefatta dalle invenzioni della Bright.

Nel mentre, c'è una linea di narrazione parallela: Dante, Marco Polo e Beatrice Portinari, antenata di Claudia, alla fine del secolo XIII si imbarcano anche loro in un viaggio sulle sfere, che poi ispirerà la Divina Commedia.
