 Ciao a tutti booklovers, oggi recensione di un libro che ho davvero adorato, ovvero Belladonna, di Adalyn Grace.

RECENSIONE:

Signa Farrow ha diciannove anni ed è stata cresciuta da alcuni Guardiani, che curavano più al profitto che al suo benessere. Gli ultimi suoi parenti sono gli Hawthorne, che vivono a Thorn Grove. La matriarca Lillian è morta, stroncata da una brutta malattia che ha coinvolto anche Blythe, la figlia.

Signa, dopo aver avuto l'apparizione del fantasma di Lillian, si convince che è morta avvelenata. Così comincia un intenso viaggio gotico, dove Signa si allea con niente altro che la Morte stessa.

Non so come descrivervi quanto abbia amato questo romanzo... è gotico, è meraviglioso. Avevo già letto qualcosa di Adalyn, ma questo romanzo ha un'ambientazione fantastica e i personaggi sono descritti con cura e risultano tridemnsionali.

Attendo Foxglove, il secondo, con ansia.
