RECENSIONE: Six Crimson Cranes è una storia epica e mozzafiato, retelling della storia della principessa e dei fratelli cigni! Lo stile è decisamente fluido e accattivante, che ti cattura durante la lettura, nonostante gli stessi capitoli siano abbastanza lunghi. Come ben sapete, se mi seguite spesso sul blog, detesto i capitoli troppo lunghi e articolati, ma con Six Crimson Cranes non ho avuto questo problema. Un merito va alla capacità dell'autrice di creare un worldbuilding straordinario: ho adorato leggere delle varie tradizioni del regno di Kiata, del regno di Ai'long e dei draghi. 

Tuttavia ho avuto un po' di problemi con la protagonista principale; Shiori'anma è decisamente una protagonista singolare, nel senso che è odiosa ai massimi livelli e decisamente una sciocca e viziata ragazza, ma in realtà si rivelerà una protagonista tosta, tanto che io mi sono ricreduta su di lei.

Takkan è davvero dolcissimo, il love interest che tutte vorremmo avere, ma sono stata affascinata dal giovane drago, quindi mi ritrovo un po' in una guerra di ship.

In generale, un romanzo stra - consigliato!
