RECENSIONE:
Amy vive in Kansas, ed è costantemente bullizzata dalla cricca di Madison Pembleton, una ragazza ricca, viziata e molto incinta. La madre è drogata, e vive in una roulotte.
Tutto cambia quando un tornado porta via la roulotte, e Amy si ritrova a Oz.
Amy Gumm è l'altra ragazza dal Kansas. Reclutata dall'Ordine rivoluzionario dei Malvagi, ha una missione: deve uccidere Dorothy.
Ma come? Dorothy era l'eroina?
Ebbene sì, la Paige ha creato un mondo dove Dorothy ha dato fuori di testa ed è diventata una tiranna, o meglio, un burattino nelle mani di Glinda, la "perfida" strega del Sud.
Qui le altre streghe sono delle ribelli, e c'è anche un giovane stregone, Nox.
Sentite già l'odore di ship tra Amy e Nox?
Ecco.
Il libro in generale è fatto bene. La storia è molto interessante, io amavo il Mago di Oz quando ero bambina, e ho amato ancora di più questo bel retelling.
Dorothy è proprio odiosa in questo libro, ma peggio Glinda.
Avrei evitato l'insta-love tra Amy e Nox, ma non si può avere tutto dal mondo.
